Not a biography — a testimony.
The name says everything: Serving My Redeemer. Not a stage name, not a brand — a declaration. Before there was a website, a YouTube channel, or a single published poem, there was a person on their knees, learning what it means to be redeemed.
The writing came out of that place. It still does. Every poem, every song is first an act of worship — and only then a work of art.
"The pen is the least of it. The surrender is the work."
The first poem came not from ambition, but from necessity — a heart too full to stay silent. Words became the only vessel large enough to hold what faith was doing inside.
Through seasons of loss, waiting, and unexpected grace, the writing deepened. Songs emerged from the same place prayers do — not performed, but poured out.
What began as private worship became a calling to share. If one person reads a line and finds their way back to the Lord — every word was worth writing.
ServingMyRedeemer.com and the YouTube channel are the continuation of that calling. New works are added regularly — each one a small act of surrender.
The poems here are not academic exercises. They are prayers that found a form — structured enough to hold the weight of what they carry, free enough to breathe. Rhyme is used when it serves the truth, not when it decorates it.
The songs began as melodies hummed in quiet moments — melodies that needed words, and words that needed melody. They are not polished productions. They are offerings. You can hear them on the YouTube channel.
The creative background is simply this: a lifetime of reading Scripture, listening for the still small voice, and believing that beauty — real beauty — always points beyond itself toward the One who made it.
"If one person reads a line
and finds their way back to the Lord —
every word was worth writing."
